Awareness & CSR Bureau


Purpose: To enhance the public perception of the debt collection industry and APDCAM's role within it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and executing public relations campaigns to build trust and positive awareness.
  • Developing and implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
  • Communicating APDCAM's mission and activities to the public and media.
  • Fostering a positive image for professional debt collectors.

Learning & Certification Bureau


Purpose: To elevate the professional standards and knowledge base of debt collection practitioners in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and conducting training programs, workshops, and seminars for members.
  • Developing and managing a professional certification program for debt collectors.
  • Keeping members informed about best practices, new technologies, and changes in the legal landscape.
  • Collaborating with other educational institutions or international associations to enhance learning opportunities.

Discipline Bureau


Purpose: To uphold the highest ethical standards and professionalism among APDCAM members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and enforcing a code of conduct for all members.
  • Investigating and resolving complaints against members regarding professional conduct.
  • Implementing disciplinary actions for any violations of the code of conduct.
  • Ensuring a fair and transparent process for all disciplinary matters.

Recruitment Bureau


Purpose: To expand APDCAM's membership and strengthen its representation within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing strategies to attract new members.
  • Managing the membership application and onboarding process.
  • Communicating the benefits of APDCAM membership to prospective members.
  • Retaining existing members through engagement and value-added services.

IT & Compliance Bureau


Purpose: To ensure APDCAM and its members are at the forefront of technological advancements and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the development and maintenance of APDCAM's digital infrastructure.
  • Monitoring changes in data protection laws and other relevant regulations.
  • Advising members on best practices for data security, privacy, and compliance.
  • Utilizing technology to streamline APDCAM's internal operations and member services.
